Do I need a boating license to rent a boat?
The state of Missouri requires that all people born after January 1, 1984 must pass a boater safety course and have a boater education card. If you do not have one, you can choose to obtain a lifetime card or a 7 day temporary license, which is valid for only 1 time use per person. For either qualification, visit https://www.boat-ed.com and take your test.
For more information visit the Missouri State Highway Patrol website at: MSHP

Can we cancel if inclement weather is a factor?
As they say at the lake, if you don’t like the weather, wait 10 minutes!!! Most days, rain showers pass, and you’ll be back in the sun in no time. However, in cases of severe weather both parties will determine what the best course of action is on the day of rental when we deliver the boat.
Once you take possession of the boat, you have taken responsibility for weather interruptions.
